Teddy bears in pop culture

The bear originally symbolized size and ferocity. Chinese people eat bear bile and PAWS in the hope of getting additional nourishment. Russians see the bear as a symbol of their fighting nation; in the United States, Smokey Bear has long been the mascot of forest fire prevention.

However, in the movies we can see, the image of teddy bears is quite the opposite.

Possibly the most famous bear in the world is Winnie the Pooh. Although Winnie the Pooh was based on a real bear, he is now a standard stuffed animal. The only different teddy bear to get a live action movie is Paddington Bear.

Anyone familiar with their stories will realize that the two bears have something in common: both teddy bears are fond of sweet things. Winnie loves honey, Paddington loves jam. Both bears have a kind heart, a very warm little thing.America Giant Teddy Bear Plush Toys

Of course, a teddy bear who is constantly a good boy can be annoying. Contrast is what society is about, or a foul-mouthed, bitchy teddy bear with a ban of 18 wouldn't have successfully launched a movie franchise as the charismatic new teddy bear icon.
