2. Process parameters

(1) Temperature of the heating plate

Refers to the surface temperature of the heating plate, usually measured with a surface thermometer. When measuring the temperature, the influence of the ambient temperature should be considered. The hot plate temperature should not only ensure the rapid melting of the end face of the pipe, but also ensure that the welded pipe fittings will not be degraded due to elevated temperature.

Refers to the time of maintaining the melting butt pressure, mainly related to the wall thickness of the pipe, namely the melting butt area.

(6) Switching cycle

The main process of hot plate fusion butt welding is the heating process and welding process, which are separated from the time by the switch of hot plate.

3. Operation methods and steps

(1) Preparation before starting up

a. The fasteners of the tool and the whole machine are fastened, and the power supply meets the requirements of the machine.

b. Whether the milling cutter, heating plate and clamping tile are consistent with the pipe and whether the machine test is flexible and reliable.

c. Turn on the power supply, open the heating plate and heat it to 200℃ -- 220℃.

(2) Adjust the pipe
